Statement of the management
GEZ Rail Solutions GmbH offers its customers everything required for the complete or partial modernization of trains, systems and components as well as the associated service.
We have access to a wide range of products, including boarding systems, doors, tractions and on-board converters, air conditioning systems, control systems, interiors, lighting systems, high – and low voltage switchgear, and driver’s cab equipment. From these, we develop and project special solutions and carry out their integration.
All products, activities and decisions must meet the requirements of the client, the legal regulations those of the supervisory authorities and the company’s internal requirements, with regard to quality, environmental protection, occupational safety, product safety and reliability.
Customers or supervisory authorities are given insight into the management system documentation if required.
We are committed to the improvement of all processes and products over the entire product life cycle with maximum product safety. The system of organizational and technical measures of the management system of GEZ Rail Solutions GmbH is described in a combined management manual (quality, environment and occupational safety) according to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and is binding for all employees. The responsibility for implementation always lies with the head of the department mentioned.
The management has delegated responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of this system to the Quality Management Officer and the Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Management Officer. They monitor and evaluate its effectiveness by means of regular internal audits and inform the management accordingly.
The Quality Management Representative has the organizational independence to perform this task. He has the right and the duty to solve quality related problem areas, to have defective products sorted out and to prevent their delivery or, if critical requirements are not met, to stop the activities for development, production, delivery or field support. As part of his/her duties, he/she reports directly to management on all major quality management issues an submits decisions in this regard as appropriate.
The occupational health and safety management representative has the organizational independence to maintain occupational health and safety. He implements the requirements of OHSAS 18001. He/she is authorized and empowered to take any necessary measures to ensure occupational safety and health protection in any area of the company. Within the scope of his/her activities, he/she reports directly to the management on all important occupational health and safety issues and, if necessary, submits decisions in this context.
The Environmental Management Officer has the organizational independence to perform this task. Within the scope of his/her activities, he/she reports directly to the management on all important environmental management issues and, if necessary, submits decisions in this context.
