GEZ Rail Solutions supports the IFS of RWTH Aachen University in the Railway Challenge

GEZ Rail Solutions is supporting the Institute of Rail Vehicles and Transport Systems (IFS) at RWTH Aachen University in the renowned Railway Challenge and is looking forward to the innovative ideas and technical solutions developed by the students.

The Railway Challenge is an internationally recognized engineering competition in which teams of students, trainees, and young professionals design, engineer, and build their own miniature locomotive on a 1:5.5 scale. The competition is organized annually by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

The focus is not only on technical excellence and innovative developments, but also on the close exchange between academia and industry. Raphael Pfaff and Peter Bunzeck are looking forward to the upcoming Railway Challenge and to engaging with students, academic staff, and young professionals.

This collaboration provides a valuable platform for all participants to gain practical experience, further develop innovative ideas, and strengthen the sustainable transfer of knowledge between science and industry.
