GEZ Rail Solutions Strengthens Partnerships in Canada

Montreal, Canada – November 2025  

GEZ Rail Solutions Inc. (Pittsburgh, USA) and GEZ Rail Solutions GmbH (Germany) successfully participated in the business development trip to Canada, which took place in Montreal and Toronto. The initiative brought together leading suppliers and key decision-makers from the Canadian rail industry to foster new transatlantic cooperation.  

GEZ was represented by Thore Krey, President and CEO of GEZ Rail Solutions Inc., and Peter Bunzeck, Managing Director and Partner of GEZ Rail Solutions GmbH. In discussions with VIA Rail Canada, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), the focus was on innovation, reliability, and sustainability—areas in which GEZ sets international standards.  

“Canada is an exciting market for sustainable rail technologies,” said Thore Krey. “We see great potential for future collaboration.”

Supported by German and Canadian business organizations, the trip strengthened bilateral industrial relations. With this initiative, GEZ Rail Solutions continues to expand its presence in North America—built on decades of experience in rail technology and system integration.
