GEZ Rail Solutions at DMGspecialist seminar “Digitalization of Vehicle Maintenance”

From September 23 to 25, 2025, DMG hosted the specialist seminar “Digitalization of Vehicle Maintenance” in Cottbus.  

The event focused on highly relevant topics such as vehicle condition diagnostics and analysis, as well as digital support for maintenance processes. It became clear that the growing flood of data presents significant challenges for companies – especially when it comes to making meaningful use of this data in maintenance operations.  

Without the use of Artificial Intelligence, it will hardly be possible to efficiently manage these tasks in the future. The intensive exchange of solution approaches and the lively discussions highlighted that TMS GbR, with its GEZ RS system – currently in use for predictive maintenance in rail vehicle door systems—can make a valuable contribution to condition-based maintenance.  

In addition to the technical presentations, operators provided practical insights into their maintenance strategies, offering a vivid overview of the paths already being taken. A particular highlight was the guided tour of the ICE maintenance facility in Cottbus, which rounded off the seminar in an impressive way.
