AHK Hamburg event on German-American trade relations
GEZ Rail Solutions GmbH has successfully delivered the first LED exterior lights of the latest generation, including heated cover lenses, to CFL (Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois).
As part of the modernization, the BR 4000 series was equipped with powerful HD headlights in cut-off design – a technology that was originally developed for the ICE 4 and is characterized by optimized light distribution and increased energy efficiency.
In addition, the vehicles were fitted with new, highly resistant windshield frames with integrated, switchable windshield heating to improve operational safety in adverse weather conditions.
With the successful conversion of the BR 4000, GEZ Rail Solutions is expanding the range of applications for its LED lighting systems to include a further series. Previously, over 300 locomotives from the BR 185, BR 185.1/2, BR 146.0, BR 146.1/2, BR 145.0 and BR 101 series had already been equipped with this technology at various rail transport companies.
The continuous development and implementation of innovative lighting systems underlines the leading role of GEZ Rail Solutions in the field of modern rail technology.
