Successful FAI for the new London Underground by GEZ Rail Solutions

GEZ Rail Solution GmbH has successfully passed the First Article Inspection (FAI) for the London Tube outdoor lighting system.

SIEMENS was commissioned by its CUSTOMER London Underground Ltd. to manufacture and supply 94 train sets for the London Underground Piccadilly Line.

The delivery of the 184 systems (consisting of Halo right/left, Detrainment Spot, Taillights, Yellow Indicator lights as well as PEA/ODIL) is scheduled for the end of 2026, with a further 216 train sets optionally available until 2030.
